The Mayor and Consort will host a visit in the Mayor Parlour, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland at 2.30pm with members of the Oxclose and District Young People's Project. 

Wednesday 16 April 2025

The Mayor and Consort will attend Sunderland Parent Carer Forum's Independence Day event which will take place at the Beacon of Light, Sunderland at 11.30am. The Mayor will meet with stall holders and have an opportunity to speak with service users and carers. 

Thursday 17 April 2025

The Mayor and Consort will support the Mayor of South Tyneside at her charity evening which will take place in the Reception Room, South Shields Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields at 7pm. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Mayor of South Tyneside's chosen charities which includes people with Special Educational Needs and Disability, Alzheimer's and Dementia and South Sheilds Volunteer Life Brigade.

Friday 18 April 2025

The Mayor and Consort will attend the annual Good Friday Service which will be held at Mowbray Park, Burdon Road, Sunderland at 12.50pm.

The Mayor and Consort will attend the opening of Achakili Restaurant and Lounge, 34 West Sunniside, Sunderland at 3pm. The Mayor will say a few words before cutting a ceremonial ribbon to officially open the new business.
