This course is for anyone aged 19 or over who is interested in working within the health and social care sector. It is designed to boost the individuals work and life skills to help them gain employment in the desired role. Developing the knowledge and skills needed when working with adults in health and social care environments. Covering a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures. Learners will need to undergo a DBS check and undertake 150 hours practical placement as they need to show competence in both knowledge and skills. This makes learners employment ready as they can apply for jobs after completion. They gain sector knowledge and skills, plus interview skills. Course duration is 1 day each week for approximately 18 weeks. | |
