In 2024/2025 the Learning and Skills Service had 1009 learners, who engaged in 1966 episodes of learning across 65 different courses.

This means that some learners completed more than one training course to develop their skills and knowledge.

Overall performance across the Learning and Skills ServiceAdult Skills Fund in 2024/25 was:

An overall achievement rate of 97.91%

• Accredited Learning achievement rate - 97.17%
• Tailored Learning achievement rate - 98.64%.
• Free courses for jobs achievment rate - 93.33%

75% of learners who were classed as not in education, employment or training at the start of training, progressed into a positive destination, including:

• Further learning - apprenticeships, higher education, traineeship or full/part time studies
• Transition into employment - a mix of permanent and temporary contracts for full and part time roles 
• Volunteering - with local organisations
