Noise from barking dogs

It's normal and natural for dogs to bark, but when it happens frequently or for a long time it can be annoying and upsetting for your neighbours. Often, this problem occurs when the owner is out of the house and does not realise there is a problem.

In law, a barking dog can be a noise nuisance. The owner can be taken to court if they do nothing to stop the nuisance.

There is lots of advice available from the  RSPCA and Dogs Trust to help you understand why you're your dogs might be barking and tips on how this can be stopped or behavioural changes. Additionally, if your dog is barking too much, you can seek advice from your veterinarian or reputable dog trainers.
