Successful Applications for Blue Badge
If your application is successful we will let you know during the telephone call, along with what you need to do next.
The photograph must:
- Be recent and represent a true likeness of you
- Show your full face
- Be in colour (preferably)
- Be passport size (that is, 35mm x 45mm)
You or your representative must print your name, address and reference number on the reverse of the photograph.
The reference number will be supplied to you by the Customer Service Advocate at the end of the call.
Please attach the photograph to a short covering note outlining your full name and address.
The cost of a Blue Badge will be £10. You can pay the administration fee by credit or debit card during your telephone assessment. Alternatively, you can send a cheque at the same time you post your photograph to us:

Once we have received your photograph, payment and proof of your qualifying benefit (if required), we will aim to process your application and get your Blue Badge posted to you within 15 working days.
With your Blue Badge you will receive a:
- Blue Badge clock (if required)
- Blue Badge booklet, which outlines your rights and responsibilities as a Blue Car Badge holder.
