Apply for Planning Permission
The quickest and easiest way to apply is online through the governments's Planning website, the Planning Portal. You can complete the form, attach your documents and make payment.
What happens next?
Your application comes back to us to decide if you can go ahead. We'll look at how it affects the local area, the environment and other people.
We will usually tell you our decision within 8 weeks. The time limit for large or complex applications is either 13 or 16 weeks.
When going through the application process we recommend that you seek the services of a professional architect. If you are not employing an architect then please follow the advice below to ensure that your application is made correctly.
