See or comment on a planning application

The easiest way to view or submit a comment on a planning application is through Planning Online, our database for planning applications.

We cannot accept your comments verbally, either on the telephone or in person.

Copies of the application and plans are available for inspection at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA, during normal office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm - please note this is a self serve facility.

Any representations that you may care to make should be sent to the Development Management section at the above address or make a comment online at www.sunderland.gov.uk/online-applications/

To submit a comment online you must register with Planning Online. Registering enables you to track the progress of an application and receive email notification when the decision is made. By law all comments received must be open to public inspection and will be available for public inspection on our Planning Online database. Comments made online will appear immediately.
