Planned System Maintenance - Limited Service

Sunderland City Council will be carrying out planned system maintenance from 12 noon on Friday 5th June until 7am on Tuesday 9th June. During this period, we will only be able to respond to urgent enquiries. If your enquiry is not urgent, please contact us before or after these times when full services will be available. Loan Shark Awareness

Loan Sharks Awareness Training

This free 1 hour 30 minute training is available face-to-face or online for anyone working in the community or supporting residents in Sunderland.

The session will help you:

Understand what illegal money lending (loan sharks) is
Spot the signs someone may be affected
Understand the impact on individuals and communities
Learn how to help those affected and prevent future harm

This training will also provide information on specialist support available for victims of loan sharks.
