- Registration document or proof of ownership
- Insurance document. This has got to be a certificate of insurance or cover note and not a schedule. This can be provided at the testing station on the day of the test.
- Relevant fee. The fee is dependant on the age of the vehicle and when the vehicle test is due.
For hackney carriage vehicles will need new door insignias at a cost of £24.00 for both.
