Since 2007, national leaders in digital inclusion, Good Things Foundation has lead on an annual digital inclusion campaign, and it's back for 2025 from Monday, 20 October to Sunday, 26 October.
Hundreds of partners and supporters across the UK join together, aiming to help tens of thousands of people discover the benefits of being online and build their confidence using the internet, helping more people cross the digital divide in just one week.
With 52% of UK adults not having essential digital skills for work, and millions still face barriers to digital confidence, from fear of AI to not feeling safe online. This week aims to help people take practical steps to build their confidence and independence with navigating the online world. Sunderland joined the campaign in 2023, and hosted 24 events, this year the city has came together to host over 70.
