Washington Plan for Neighbourhoods Board
As part of a new plan for neighbourhoods, the government announced an investment programme into local towns, including Washington.
As a result, Washington will receive £20 million over 10 years, with the funding to be spent on three key areas:
- Building thriving places
- Strengthening communities
- Ensuring residents' views are at the heart of decision-making
