Dame Dorothy Street resurfacing works
The project to install a two-way cycle lane that will link Sunderland's seafront to the city centre is almost complete.
The final phase of resurfacing works is due to start on the dedicated cycle lane along Dame Dorothy Street.
The works are scheduled for:
- Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 July 2025
- Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 July 2025
Traffic Management arrangements will be in place and diversions signposted on site to help minimise disruption. Please see the plans below for further information.
