Bill Steele   From world traveler to community volunteer  Bill tells us about his life experiences- which has now led him to become an Ageing Well Ambassador and community reporter.

Dorothy is a retired teacher who has lived in Sunderland all her life. She says despite loving her long and rewarding career, she enjoys retirement even more. Here she tells us why.

Kevin Cummings  who has recently had a stroke, is looking forward to sharing real life stories and experience that will resonate those in similar situations to realise they are not alone and to signpost to support. Here he tells us more about himself.

Laura Hind who currently lives at St Peter's Riverside, describes herself as a bit of a nomad, having lived in many areas around the city, such as Roker, Ashbrooke, Millfield, Silksworth and Pennywell. She began her 'journey' around the city in 1964 in Salem Hill, Hendon where she was born. Here she tells us more about herself and her love of Sunderland.

Kathy Pickering is born and bred Sunderland and is now enjoying retirement in her hometown with her husband, here she tells us about her love of cycling, reading, studying genealogy and what led her to become an Ageing Well Ambassador and community reporter.

Peter Smith  retired Professor from the University of Sunderland - Peter - was born and bred in the city. He is proud to be a citizen of Sunderland and delighted to have the opportunity to be a Sunderland reporter. Here he tells us more about himself and his passions: family, work and rock music.

Julia Jackson   From nurse to teacher, to councillor to devoted grandparent. Julia, aged 67, who says she is lucky enough to live in the Roker area tells us about her careers and passion for Sunderland, which led her to become Ageing Well Ambassador and community reporter.
