Upcoming road closures

As part of the ongoing construction works for the proposed A690 Cycleway, Sunderland City Council will commence works on the footpath between 'The Mill PH (B1260) & Four Lane Ends/North Rd roundabout (B1284).

This will involve the closure of the Northbound exit (towards Houghton) from this roundabout, on the B1260. The closure will start on Monday 28th November for a minimum period of three weeks.

A full diversion route will be signposted during the closure. Access to the roundabout from Houghton will be maintained at all times during these works.
