Leadership blog - 17.04.19

In this blog, the Leader talks about all of the activities to be found in Sunderland over the Easter break.

As we approach Easter weekend it's great to see the weather picking up and lots of young people out and about in the city enjoying the school holidays.

When the sun shines in Sunderland it's an especially great place to be, with an abundance of outstanding natural assets including miles of parks and green spaces throughout the city and our stunning coastline.

There is an incredible amount to see and do with family and friends both indoors and outdoors and taking advantage of all the places to walk, run, cycle and play outside is also a great way to stay fit and healthy.

And with the developments mentioned in previous blogs and an array of great places to eat, drink and shop and visit, the city centre is an increasingly vibrant place to spend time during the daytime and on an evening.

Information about what's going on in Sunderland over the long weekend can be found on our See it Do it website and I wish everybody a very happy Easter!
