Annual fee
Following the grant of a premises licence an annual fee is payable.
The holder of a premises licence must pay an annual fee on every anniversary of the issue of the original premises licence.
Failure to pay the annual fee may result in the debt being pursued through the courts and could result in your premises licence being suspended.
If you no longer have any connection with the premises licensed by the council, you should contact our City and Neighbourhood team immediately.
Failure to do so could result in you being liable for the annual fee in respect of these premises.
Application fee
The annual fees for premises licences are dependent upon the rateable value of the premises and whether the sale of alcohol is the primary function of the premises.
Rateable value | Grant | |
A | £0 TO £4,300 | £70 |
B | £4,301 to £33,000 | £180 |
C | £33,001 to £87,000 | £295 |
D | £87,001 to £125,000 | £320 |
E | £125,001 and over | £350 |
Alcohol D | £87,001 to £125,000 | £640 |
Alcohol E | £125,001 and over | £1,050 |
